Tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy, the 15th Season 15 episode entitled We Didn't Start the Fire, will make the hit show the longest-running primetime medical drama.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, series creator Shonda Rhimes took to her official Shondaland website to share 23 new behind-the-scenes photos.
The creator, 'popped open her laptop and chose a few of her fave photos,' according to the site, which go all the way back to the pilot episode in 2005.

Helipad: She also shared snaps of the helipad at Komo Plaza in Seattle, which stood in for the helipad at the fictional Seattle Grace hospital.
The first photo features series stars Ellen Pompeo, T.R. Knight, Katherine Heigl and Sandra Oh, during, 'one of their first fancy photo shoots with a real photographer.
'I snapped this photo of the moment. It's blurry, but that somehow made it feel slightly magical to me,' Rhimes said.
She also shared snaps of the helipad at Komo Plaza in Seattle, which stood in for the helipad at the fictional Seattle Grace hospital.

Rhimes added that these, 'early and important helipad shots helped us sell the hospital as a part of the city of Seattle.'
Along with photos of executive producers Betsy Beers and Rob Corn on the set during the pilot, she shared a shot of Peter Horton and Sandra Oh on the set.
