The publication reports that the legendary actress will perform a hilarious sketch based on the film, with several of the original stars set to return. Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again made a huge impact when it hit cinemas in July, as it told the tale of the young Donna Sheridan and how she met the three men who would eventually become potential fathers to her daughter Sophie. It was also a reunion for the Absolutely Fabulous duo Saunders and Joanna Lumley, years before they appeared in anniversary specials and a 2015 feature film. Speaking at the time, Jennifer reportedly said: 'If I could have lived on the fake Mamma Mia set for the past year, I would have been very happy. This is one of the silliest things I've done. But, my God, I enjoy it.' Throwback: The sketch - ten years after the original film - will spoof the sequel which hit cinemas in July, with many of its cast returning Back together again: The original sketch which aired in Comic Relief 2009 saw French and Saunders reunite for the first - and last - time after parting ways in 2008 Old face: Jennifer was also reunited with her Absolutely Fabulous co-star Joanna Lumley for the sketch The sketch will see Jennifer reprise her role as Meryl Streep playing Donna, while Alan Carr is reportedly set to reprise his role as Colin Firth/Harry Bright, and Phillip Glenister will be back as Piers Brosnan/Sam Carmichael. Sue Perkins and Miranda Hart will return as the Producer and Director, though it has been reported that Dawn French will not be getting into character as Julie Walters/Rosie Mulligan due to scheduling conflicts. Fans will be hoping that Joanna Lumley reprises her role as Christine Baranski/ Tanya Chesham-Leigh, and whether Sienna Miller will be back as Amanda Seyfried/Sophie Sheridan, and whether Stellan Skarsgård will be swapped out for a Swede. Comic Relief 2019 could prove a trip down memory lane for film fans, as it will also see a sequel to the Hugh Grant favourite Four Weddings And A Funeral, which also saw a majority of the cast return. Meanwhile it has also been reported that the BBC are pulling out all the stops for the all-night telethon, with stars such as Emma Willis, Joe Sugg, Zoe Ball and Paddy McGuiness and co-founder Sir Lenny Henry being lined up to host. Comic Relief airs on Friday 15th March on BBC One and Two.
