Dan Sultan has apologised for the disastrous concert he played in Cairns last June, during which he fell off a chair and forgot the lyrics to a song.
Taking to Facebook on Thursday, the Australian musician told fans that he 'sold everyone in the room short' and was hoping to 'make it right' with another performance he has now scheduled in the same city.
The 34-year-old has previously confessed that he was 'drunk' during the event and the fallout from show landed him in rehab.

During last year's concert, Dan performed a bizarre rendition of Britney Spears' song Baby One More Time, which prompted anger from fans.
According to news.com.au, 'almost every one of the 500 audience members demanded a refund'.
In his candid Facebook post shared on Thursday, Dan described the June 2nd concert as 'the worst show I have and will ever play'.
