There's new developments in the casting process for the upcoming 25th James Bond film, Bond 25, as Rami Malek is expected to be in the film, while Lupita Nyong'o is not.
Reps for the 36-year-old actress told Deadline on Thursday that it's unlikely Nyong'o will be able to come to a deal to be in the film, while Malek is getting closer to sign.
According to a previous report from the outlet, producers had hoped to ink the Academy Award-winning 12 Years A Slave star into one of the key female roles they are looking to cast; the roles are of an MI6 agent and a villain, Variety reported Wednesday.

While the Kenyan-Mexican Beauty is out, it appears as if Malek is in line to be the next Bond villain. The 37-year-old actor, who triumphed at Sunday's Oscars, would play the chief antagonist of Daniel Craig's titular character.
Producers have been determined to sign up Malek for months, sources told the outlet, with the main obstacle being his availability to shoot the film this spring
