She just announced that she'll be teaming up with cannabis grower Canopy Growth to develop cannabis-derived CBD products for humans and animals.

And Martha Stewart looked like she was in high spirits as she stepped out for lunch at the celeb-beloved Joan's On Third in Studio City this Friday.

The domestic goddess, 77, was casually clad in a shiny puffer vest dressed up with sassy gold clogs.

She rounded out her look with an oatmeal-colored microfiber top, a shiny puffer vest, and simple leggings.

The ex-felon, who was served time after being convicted of insider trading in 2004, waved at onlookers before heading off.

Martha recently landed a new job as adviser to Canopy Growth as they develop a line of CBD-based products for pets and their ownres.

The deal between Canopy and Sequential Brands Group Inc, which owns the Martha Stewart brand, will seek to leverage Stewart's knowledge of consumer products in the launch of products based on CBD, the non-psychoactive chemical found in marijuana.

She said: 'I'm especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people's beloved pets.' Last year, Martha said that although she doesn't smoke weed, she confessed to trying an edible - a gummy candy containing marijuana. Speaking about the new venture, Martha said she's excited about it. She said: 'I'm especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people's beloved pets.' 

Last year, Martha - who hosts a cooking show with legendary stoner Snoop Dogg - admitted that although she doesn't smoke weed, she has tried edibles - gummy candies containing marijuana.

Speaking on the December 2018, she said: 'I've tried an edible. It's like a little gummy bear or something.

'They're fine,' she added.

The upcoming range will focus on CBD-based products, and will be, at least in part, aimed at helping treat anxiety in animals.
