The deal between Canopy and Sequential Brands Group Inc, which owns the Martha Stewart brand, will seek to leverage Stewart's knowledge of consumer products in the launch of products based on CBD, the non-psychoactive chemical found in marijuana.

Speaking about the new venture, Martha said she's excited about it. She said: 'I'm especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people's beloved pets.'
Last year, Martha - who hosts a cooking show with legendary stoner Snoop Dogg - admitted that although she doesn't smoke weed, she has tried edibles - gummy candies containing marijuana.
Speaking on the December 2018, she said: 'I've tried an edible. It's like a little gummy bear or something.
