James Blunt paid an emotional tribute to The Prodigy's Keith Flint, after news broke that the star had been found dead, aged 49, on Monday.
Taking to Twitter to react to the news, the singer, 45, praised the self-effacing kindness demonstrated by Keith during their one and only meeting, in 2013, which saw The Prodigy star hug James when other industry icons mocked him.
His heartwarming anecdote read: 'At the Q Awards years ago, when @NoelGallagher was saying he was leaving Ibiza because I'd moved there, and @DamonAlbarn refused to be in the same picture as me...

'Keith, I only met you once, but I shed a tear at the news of your death. In our business, there are no prizes for being kind, but if there was, that Grammy would be yours.'
In March 2013, Noel Gallagher confirmed the swirling rumours that he has sold his holiday home in Ibiza to get away from James Blunt.
The former Oasis star owned a property on the sun-soaked Spanish island, and reports had suggested he sold up when he heard the You're Beautiful singer had taken up residence nearby.

Noel was asked about the story in a question-and-answer session with readers of Time Out Dubai magazine, and when asked. 'Is it true you moved out of Ibiza because of James Blunt?' he replied, 'Yes'.
When probed about what Blunt did to upset him, Gallagher added, 'He didn't (upset me). He just moved there. I can't have that.'
