With the dust settling on a memorable awards season Richard E. Grant was back on home soil and back in the arms of devoted wife Joan Washington during a night out in London on Wednesday evening.
The couple enjoyed a rare red carpet appearance as the British Film Institute (BFI) hosted a Chairman’s dinner at the Rosewood Hotel, a fortnight after Grant narrowly missed out on the accolade for Best Supporting Actor at the 91st annual Academy Awards.
Looking appropriately dapper in a black tuxedo and crisp white shirt, the actor, 61, beamed as he posed for photos alongside Joan, a Scottish dialect coach.
