Migos rapper Quavo just made a rather controversial purchase, revealing to his fans that he just took home his own tiger.

The 27-year-old rapper (real name Quavious Keyate Marshall) took to https://www.instagram.com/p/BuvDPpzh2vl/ on Thursday with a new video revealing the tiger.

In the accompanying video, Quavo began by zooming in and out on his new pet's teeth, before saying, 'I just bought a tiger today.'

'I got a handler right there, she's my handler,' Quavo continued, before turning the camera on the professional animal handler.

He then turned the camera on the tiger, stating, 'Yes sir,' as the video came to an end on his Instagram story.

Several fans took the rapper to task for buying a tiger, including comedian Whitney Cummings, who left a lengthy comment on his Instagram.

'This is not cool. It’s reckless to promote and glamorize this. You don’t need a tiger as a pet,' Cummings said.
