Channel Ten reportedly held a 'two-day crisis talk' last week in response to disappointing ratings and a slew of programming flops.
But the CBS-owned network may be looking at a ratings revival after reportedly securing the rights to film a local version of popular American talent show The Masked Singer.
According to TV Blackbox, the Ten shelled out an 'an exorbitant fee' to nab the Australian rights to the high-rating format from Warner Bros.

'10 have plenty of CBS cash to spend, and plenty of timeslots to fill,' a network executive reportedly told the publication on Monday.
The program is set to hit screens later this year according to TV Blackbox.
