Britain's Got Talent champion Ashleigh Butler has revealed a hidden heartache behind her recent Crufts win with dog Sully, after she dedicated the win to her mum Penny who is 'living with cancer.'
Appearing on Wednesday's Lorraine, the dog trainer, 24, revealed that it has been touch and go in recent weeks regarding her mum's health, but she was able to see the canine storm to victory.
Ashleigh has been competing with her dog Sully following the death of her other pooch Pudsey - with who she won Britain's Got Talent - in 2017.

After Lorraine explained that Ashleigh's mum had been 'living with cancer,' she explained: 'A couple of weeks ago she was so unwell we weren't even sure if she was going to make it and then she did.
'Sully actually won the competition on Friday and mum wasn't there, so to go back on Sunday and win the championships as well meant a lot to all of us.'
Ashleigh then revealed that it was her mum's love of dogs that sparked her own close bond with the canines at a young age, and she was gifted Pudsey at the age of 13.
