Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is featured in Men's Health magazine's April 2019 edition, where he opens up about his character on the HBO smash hit, Jaime Lannister, as well the last season of the fantasy drama.

The Denmark native, 48, did not let out any spoilers in terms of how the series will conclude, saying he doesn't even 'have any memories' of how things shook out before the cameras.

He joked: 'It's true! You know the Men in Black thing that erases your memory? It exists. And HBO has it!'

The Emmy-nominated actor was also coy about what the future holds for his on-screen persona, saying, 'I can't tell you anything about that,' again diffusing the anxious anticipation with humor.

'He grows out his arm,' he said. 'His arm grows back. Yes. It grows back, but not in the way you think. It's a claw. It comes out as a claw. No - it's a paw.'

He credited show runners D. B. Weiss and David Benioff for ending the series with what worked best creatively amid an obvious commercial demand for the top-rated show as it wraps up.

They 'stuck to their guns and said, "This is the story we wanna tell; we’re not gonna extend this" - because I’m sure HBO would have loved another couple years of this show,' Coster-Waldau said. 'There's an audience for it, for sure. But I think everyone who watches the show will appreciate that it’s finished - that it was one story from episode 1 to episode 83, and we told it.'
