She tragically lost her partner Billy Yates in 2017 after he took his own life.
And Zoe Ball was hailed by Comic Relief viewers after she bravely addressed a poignant male suicide segment during the annual Comic Relief fundraiser on Friday night.
The radio presenter, 48, appeared sombre as she spoke about the short film which featured a family who lost their son to suicide.

After the film played, the star said that her heart went out to his family, before speaking further about the work Comic Relief does in relation to suicide.
She said: 'Comic Relief is working with so many organisations in so many ways on issues of mental health. I learnt about some of them when I was doing my stuff for Sport Relief last year.
'There’s so much pain around and a call to donate on our number could help to ease that pain.'
Viewers watching at home were quick to praise Zoe on Twitter, with many observing that the segment must have been tough for her considering her own loss two years ago.
