She's a doting mum to two sons, and is currently expecting her first with beau Joe Swash.

And Stacey Solomon spoke to Lorraine on Friday about her decision to take maternity leave from her various roles including the Loose Women panel.

The television personality, 29, who confirmed her pregnancy in February told the talk show host: 'People say I can't take maternity leave but obviously I can if I want to, we're all self employed so it's different.  

'Joe and I both have jobs that mean we could be out of work for the next six months but we are incredible privileged to be in a jobs we enjoy so we just take it as it comes. 

'I’m not planning on having loads of maternity leave, but I’m not going to have none. I enjoy my work so much so that’ll keep me occupied, it'll get to that point in pregnancy where I’ll be like "when will it be over".'

She added that she'll stop her work commitments a 'couple of weeks' before her due date to give herself time to adjust.
