In recent seasons, Married At First Sight has incorporated scripted elements and hired professional actors to generate 'drama' on screen.
But the show's trio of relationship experts insist that their role on the show remains sacred and they are not told what to say by producers.
Speaking to TV Tonight, clinical neuropsychotherapist Trisha Stafford denied claims by former contestants that the panel is 'fed lines' during commitment ceremonies.

'It's an unscripted television show - that's where it's an experiment, and like any experiment you throw in different variables,' she said.
