Susan Lucci doesn't want her mom to worry about her recent health scare.
The 72-year-old stunner admitted she didn't tell her mother Jeanette that she underwent emergency heart surgery to remove a severe blockage because she didn't want 'to scare' the 102-year-old.
'The truth is I didn't tell her... I just didn't want to scare her' the former daytime diva told Us Weekly during the ADAPT Leadership Awards in NYC last Thursday, March 14.

While Lucci's condition did make news, the All My Children actress said it's unlikely that her mom would hear about her health scare from anyone but her own daughter.
'We haven't talked about it. I don't want to,' she admitted.
Susan was wary about telling her mom for more than a few reasons.
'My mother was a nurse and I just didn't want to scare her,' she said, before also revealing that she has a family history of heart disease.
