He was accused of rape later that year, but was later cleared of the charges. In a recent interview, the emotional widower insisted he 'loved them like they was my own'. 'I brought them up for four years. Jeff used to only be around once a month for the weekend', he recently told The Sun. While Jack acknowledged that Jeff has been a great dad to the kids, he was adamant Jade wanted him to adopt them at the time and that he was the real 'father figure' in their lives at the time.
