James Corden has landed a plum job.
The 40-year-old Late Late Show star has been hired to host the 2019 Tony Awards in New York City. The show will take place on June 9, 2019 at the Radio City Music Hall.
'I'm thrilled to be returning to host the Tony Awards, the Broadway community is very dear to my heart and I'm beyond proud to be part of this incredibly special night,' said Corden.

This is Corden's second time serving as host of the Tonys as he did it once before in 2016.
The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
'James is not only a beloved talent, he is also a veteran of the stage and has a true passion for Broadway,' said Charlotte St. Martin, President of The Broadway League, and Heather Hitchens, President of the American Theatre Wing.
