Reality TV stars Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf, who met and fell in love on Big Brother 19, are now the proud parents of a newborn baby girl. Nickson, 33, revealed on a new episode of his wife's podcast, Now What, that listeners are hearing his voice instead of hers because they had an 'emergency situation and she ended up in the hospital.' That situation lead to an emergency C-section, which thankfully resulted in the birth of a healthy daughter, Maverick Nickson. New parents: Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf welcomed their newborn daughter Maverick after emergency C-section on St Patrick's Day Covered up: The first photo of the baby hasn't surfaced yet, but Graf did offer a glimpse at her with her covered-up newborn 'On March 17, St. Patrick's Day, 18.5 inches, 6 pounds 7 oz, Maverick Nickson was born,' Nickson said. 'We couldn't be happier and thank you for all the thoughts and prayers out there.' Nickson began by revealing that their day on Sunday began with his wife Graf, 28, 'not feeling so well.' 'She lacked energy, which, throughout this pregnancy she's always had great energy, but this day she was just sluggish, lethargic and she didn't want to do anything,' he said. Birthday: 'On March 17, St. Patrick's Day, 18.5 inches, 6 pounds 7 oz, Maverick Nickson was born, Nickson said. 'We couldn't be happier and thank you for all the thoughts and prayers out there' Graf said she wanted to stay in bed while Nickson went out with his family, and when they came back, she was still 'just off.' They ultimately decided to 'hook up a home blood pressure kit to her,' and once they got the results 'they read to a level that it didn't seem possible.' He added that everyone else he was with tried the test, including himself, his sister, niece and his daughter Paisley from a previous marriage. Blood pressure spike: They ultimately decided to, 'hook up a home blood pressure kit to her,' and once they got the results, 'they read to a level that it didn't seem possible' 'Jessica tried it again, and, again, it was just off the chart abnormal,' he added, stating they even went to their local Kroger to test her blood pressure on their machine, where it read 185 over 113, where there is risk for a stroke or seizure. Their doctor told them to go to the hospital 'immediately.' Soon after her vision started blurring and she got 'an insane headache.' After arriving at the hospital, and taking her blood pressure again (which was at 200 over 100), they rushed her into the emergency room. 'The doctor comes in and says, "You're having an emergency C-section, and this baby is coming in 15 minutes,"' Nickson added. 'So, sure enough, after all the prep and everything, 15 minutes later, on St Patrick's Day, our little bundle of joy arrived,' he added. 'We had our baby girl and, fortunately, the surgery went great. Jessica is currently recovering, by all means everything went good with her.'
