Game Of Thrones' fans speculate that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen die

Game Of Thrones' fans were left speculating whether Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen will die in the final season after Peter Dinklage shared a cast photo.

Many of Peter's followers were quick to assume that the image was a 'survivors' photograph of all of the characters in the show that will make it to the end.

However notably absent from the snap, were Jon (Kit Harington), Daenerys (Emilia Clark) and and Cersei Lannister (Lena Kathren Headey), who will all battle it out for their claim to the Iron Throne during the eighth series.

The image included many of the show's key players, including Tyrian Lannister (Peter), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) among others.

Peter was sure not to give the game away, as he shared the image with the caption of a simple flame emoji on Tuesday, just weeks before the final series is set to air.

Taking to the comments section of the post, fans assumed the worst, with one writing: 'So cersie [sic] and Jon snow both die in the first episode.'

Another asked: 'Where the f*** is Jon Snow? Is this a hint to all those that survive?'

Another avid fan wrote: 'Everyone not in this pic dies in next series!'

One user commented: 'Are these the only ones remaining alive at the end?'

However one eagle-eyed fan may have a less tragic explanation for the photograph, as they suggested that these were simply the characters filming scenes in Dorne, a desert-like area of Westeros where scenes are filmed abroad.

They wrote: 'They [the cast] were invited by Seville football club to Seville soccer field to watch a match when they were in Seville filming Dorne scenes.'

The post comes as Kit admitted he had therapy at the height of his Game Of Thrones fame after struggling with his confidence after his epic season five finale.

The actor, 32, said he felt under intense scrutiny following his character's brief death at the end of the fifth series, which resulted in him questioning his acting ability.

He also admitted that after re-watching key episodes in order to get back into the Jon Snow mindset, he found that he was unhappy with 70 per cent of his scenes.
