HBO has released a new trailer for their highly-anticipated Deadwood: The Movie, which not only includes new footage, but reveals the May 31 premiere date.
Fans have been clamoring for closure ever since HBO's abrupt cancellation of the critically-acclaimed Deadwood after just three seasons in 2006.
Practically the entire cast of Deadwood returns for an epic feature film event, 13 years in the making.

The trailer begins with Al Swearengen overlooking the patrons of his establishment, The Gem Saloon, before uttering, 'This town is a sanctuary.'
There is also an aerial shot of Deadwood, South Dakota and a shot of a train rolling into town, as Swearengen continues his speech.
'Any man worth a name knows the value of being unreachable,' Swearengen continues, as the trailer features shots of Swearengen and Sheriff Seth Bullock (Timothy Olyphant) and Sol Starr (Jon Hawkes).

The trailer also features shots of Alma Garret (Molly Parker), Trixie (Paula Malcomson), Charlie Utter (Dayton Callie) and George Hearst (Gerald McRaney).
