Soap opera veteran Ada Nicodemou, 41, has credited Home And Away with helping her survive some of the hardest years of her life.

The actress, who has starred on the long-running soap for two decades, suffered a heartbreaking loss in 2014 when she delivered her son Harrison stillborn eight months into her second pregnancy with ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas.

In 2016, she and Chrys ended their nine-year marriage.
