Kristin Cavallari, 32, and Jay Cutler, 35, will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary in June.
But the couple's journey to wedded bliss wasn't always smooth-sailing, as they once abruptly called off their engagement back in 2011.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday, the Very Cavallari star revealed that she broke up with the former Chicago Bears quarterback because they were too young.

'We split because we got engaged really fast, we got engaged after eight months,' the Uncommon James founder said.
'I was 23 when I met him and I knew that I wanted to marry Jay but some things needed to change.
'...The only way he was going to see how serious I was was if I ended it. I knew in my heart that it wasn't really the end but I just had to do it. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.'
