Lorde will perform at a charity concert to honour the 50 victims killed in the horrific mass shootings at two mosques in New Zealand. 

The Auckland-born singer will appear in the You Are Us/Aroha Nui show benefit gig in Christchurch on April 17.

The announcement marks the 22-year-old Grammy winner's return to the stage after her successful Melodrama world tour wrapped last November.

The Royals singer will join a line-up of New Zealand artists like Anika Moa, Bene, Bic Runga, Fat Freddy's Drop, and Stan Walker. 

There will also be another concert in Auckland on Sunday April 13. Tickets will go on sale on March 28.

All proceeds go towards the Our People, Our City fund, created by the Christchurch Foundation, to help those affected by the terror attacks.
