The magic of everyone's favourite boy wizard is coming Down Under. According to The Daily Telegraph on Monday, a movie-themed run called The Wizard's Run is headed to major cities across Australia. Pictured is actor Daniel Radcliffe The five-kilometre run has no affiliation with Harry Potter, but runners are encouraged to dress-up for the event. The Daily Telegraph reported that 'Appropriate wizard garb is 100% encouraged'. The event is scheduled for August and is expected to see plenty of runners dressed as Harry, Ron and Hermione. Despite the first film in the franchise coming out back in 2001, the book and film franchise has shown no sign of slowing down. On the run: Fans will be able to recreate the joy of Harry Potter, with organisers encouraging runners to dress-up. The two-part production managed to make Australian history, selling 200,000 tickets in pre-sales, according to Fairfax Media. The play pulled in over $25 million in sales in the first four days after tickets went on general sale in August last year. The magic of Harry Potter still alive and well, with it being reported a first edition Harry Potter book sold at auction for almost £70,000 this month. The unique copy was one of only 500 first editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to bear J.K. Rowlings first name, Joanne.
