Emotional: Katie Price's mum Amy burst into tears on Loose Women on Monday as she talked about how 'proud' she is of her daughter Speaking about how her terminal condition has progressed, Amy said: 'I'm not too bad I went for tests this week, my lung function has dropped a little bit. 'That's to be expected. They look at all the other organs in your body and they are still 100% fine so I'm not allowed to go on the transplant list yet.' 'I still enjoy myself. Exercise makes me out of breath, I went to a spin class this morning but it's good for you. I have a test tomorrow to see if I need to be put on oxygen.' Health: The 64-year-old appeared on the show to talk about her terminal lung condition, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, which she was diagnosed with 18 months ago Katie told host Ruth Langsford she is so much stronger now, after being in denial about her mum's terminal illness when they both appeared on the show in September 2017. 'The first time I was crying, I couldn't cope and when you hear terminal you think she's not gone long left.' Amy revealed she moved to Spain for the colder winter months in a bid to improve her declining health. She said: 'Late January I was suffering so much with the cold weather. I went to Spain and some friends found me a tiny little apartment by the sea. 'The warmer weather makes me feel much better. If I go walking I do 2,000 over here whereas in Spain I can do 10,000 steps and don't cough'. Katie added: 'She does nag me every day at the moment on FaceTime. When the time comes that she doesn't nag me, that's when I will know that she has gone downhill.' The television personality also said when the family first discovered Amy's diagnosis, Katie tried to offer her a lung. 'She wouldn't ever let me because I have kids but it's not that easy. There's not that many on the transplant list, they have to wait until your nearly dead.' Amy told the panel she was hoping to go on a research drug because it 'wouldn't make it any worse'.
