The former sportsman was given one last chance to stay in the competition with his dance partner Siobhan Power, but they unfortunately failed to impress. Curtly thanked fans for their support after losing a cha-cha dance off against children's entertainer Jimmy Rees - who will remain on the show another week. Based on the dance alone, the judges decided Jimmy deserved to stay in the competition and eliminated Curtly. The 6’7” cricketer and his dance partner Siobhan hugged each other and then congratulated their rivals. Before saying goodbye to the couple, host Amanda Keller joked: 'I know your wife Bridget wants you to teach her to dance. Do you promise to do that when you go home?''
