Pete Davidson cheers on the Knicks from courtside seats

He confirmed his romance with Kate Beckinsale last month when the couple indulged in a very public kiss at Madison Square Garden.

But Pete Davidson was flying solo as he headed back to the arena in New York City on Monday evening to see the Knicks take on the Chicago Bulls.

The comedian, 25, couldn't hold back his grin as he took in the action from courtside seats with former The Daily Show host Jon Stewart and Saturday Night Live writer John Mulaney.

The SNL star cut a casual figure in a pair of light-wash jeans and a neon orange sweatshirt as he chomped down on a lollipop from his seat.

Pete completed his simple ensemble with a black bomber jacket and white trainers as he rose from his seat in celebration at the game.

He was also seen brandishing vivid red painted nails as he cheered on his team alongside pal John, 36.

Also in attendance at the game were The Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli, Australian musician Cody Simpson, football star Robby Anderson and actor Justin Long.

Pete's appearance at the game comes just weeks after he and British actress Kate Beckinsale, 45, were spotted kissing in the very same stands as the New York Rangers played the Washington Capitals.

As Pete leaned in toward Kate, it was possible to catch a glimpse of the heart neck tattoo he got for ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, whom he was engaged to until this past October.

The pair were also seen holding hands and laughing with each other during the game, and at one point Pete rose to his feet and triumphantly threw up his arms.

On Kate's other side was Queer Eye
