Married At First Sight's Jack and Verity may be the shows first successful couple after they have remained close since tying the knot.

The couple, who met for the first time at the altar on the Channel 4 show, are still friends on social media and are on good terms, The Mirror reports.

However it is not known if the couple let their relationship go down a romantic route or if they decided to move on as friends.

Verity, 28, an officer manager and IT consultant Jack, 25, who both live in London, appeared to get along well after tying the knot.

The bride, who feared Jack would not turn up for the wedding, admitted she was pleased he 'wasn't minging'.

But there was tension in the air when Jack's father was caught looking unimpressed with his son's new wife.

Despite looking absolutely incredible in her gorgeous white gown as she walked down the aisle to get married, Jack father's disappointment was hard to miss as he saw Verity for the first time.

Immediately he was seen sighing and looking away, while other pleased guests watched the happy couple exchange vows.

Viewers blasted father Mark after he later revealed he hoped she was 'slim, athletic and well-spoken'.

The father, who is a buyer on Dickinson's Real Deal, was forced to make a groveling apology on Twitter after fans of the show branded him 'superficial'.

Hitting back at angry viewers, he said he 'loves and appreciate people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and sexual orientations' and that his comments were misinterpreted.
