The sequel to the horror hit is due to be released on September 6.
And It: Chapter Two stars Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader were on hand on Tuesday when the first footage from the film screened at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Although the footage was only screened for attendees of the convention, it was described as 'terrifying' by The Hollywood Reporter.

Before the footage played, director Andy Muschietti revealed that no one outside the studio had seen it.
The sneak peek began with a long scene in which Jessica Chastain -playing the adult version of Beverly Marsh- returns to Derry to visit her father, according to THR.
An elderly woman opened the door and broke the news to Beverly that her father passed away, before inviting her inside.

What follows is the woman being 'taken by an unseen force, and then reappears, presumably taken over by Pennywise'.
