Kodak Black said he will 'pursue' Nipsey Hussle's partner Lauren London during an Instagram Live video posted on Saturday.

Nipsey was shot dead outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday and is survived by Lauren and their two-year-old son Kross as well as his daughter Emani, from a previous relationship.

'She gonna be a whole widow. I'll be the best man I can be for her. I'll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year crying and sh*t,' Kodak can be heard saying in the grainy video.

When a friend is heard asking Kodak is 'he's shooting his shot', Kodak backtracked and answered 'I'm not trying to shoot at her.'

Instead, he is attempting to 'console' her he maintains.

'I trying to be that friend to holler on...  that shoulder to lean on... you can call my line,' he can be heard saying at the end of the video.

But the damage had been done as fans were quick to slam the rapper online.

Devising: 'She gonna be a whole widow. I'll be the best man I can be for her. I'll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year crying and shit,' Kodak can be heard saying in the grainy video
