It was Kate, or the family's nanny, who seemed to pick up and drop off [the couple's daughter] Mae at childcare much of the time.' Daily Mail Australia has contacted Kate's publicist at Nova FM for comment. It emerged over the weekend that Stuart, who married former Home and Away star Kate in 2010, had been charged with drink-driving with a suspended licence. The retired rugby league player allegedly blew 0.083 when police stopped him in Sydney's eastern suburbs on March 26, police said. Soon after, police learned he was also allegedly driving on a suspended licence. But in October 2018, Kate told The Australia Women's Weekly that she and Stuart are happy and committed to their marriage. 'Of course [split rumours] are wrong... it is baseless. But I don't want to say any more about it because it will breathe life into it again,' she said. 'When you ask me how does that affect me, the truth is I have had to learn how to not let if affect me.' She continued: 'Firstly, I think good luck to anybody who thinks that they know what is going on in my life because there are times when I am not sure - and I don't mean that in a negative way.'
