The star recently opened up to The Mirror about her high profile love life in the midst of her split which she has called 'painful and ghastly'.

She said: 'When people have said I am ‘unlucky in love’, I just think: Why is it unlucky in love? Sometimes relationships run their course. I have had so many Mr Rights!

'Are you supposed to meet someone at 14 and just be with them for ever? That is unlikely to happen.'

The TV personality went on to say that she is far from ready to join the dating scene and is not looking for another man.

She added: 'The whole idea of looking for a partner is not even on the bottom of my agenda – it hasn’t even made my agenda.'

Instead, the mum-of-four has chosen to concentrate on her other loves that make her 'full and complete', namely her children, as well as passions such as gardening and cooking.

She continued to say that past partners have 'just happened' to come into her life, before stating that she's 'absolutely not' searching for another man'

Ulrika words come after she previously accused her husband Brian of 'abandoning her' and said the 'ghastly and painful' split has left her feeling 'weak and pathetic.'

The Swedish beauty had been responding to fan's messages of support on her Instagram page on Wednesday, a day after she told Best magazine she was getting divorced after counselling failed to save her 11-year marriage.

Attempting to answer all of the comments, Ulrika gave an insight into how she was feeling at this heartbreaking time.

Ulrika responded: 'Sooooo painful. Ghastly. And I hadn't really anticipated it. Want to emerge strong as f**k but feel a bit weak and pathetic at moment!!'

Another fan wrote: 'Whilst going through the menopause my husband left me for someone 17 years younger after 20 years of marriage.'

'Thanks for your continued support. I like to reply to everyone if I can. If someone’s taken the trouble to write I want to show consideration by responding. Sending lots of love. X.'

Ulrika had revealed her sad news in the latest issue of Best magazine and said: 'You can only resolve problems with another person. If I'm honest, getting another divorce aged 51 is not where I thought I would be, so who knows?

'I just don't know what shape my future will take. I can't contemplate dating again. Then again, I've said I will never marry again before, and I did. I've been content being out of the limelight. I haven't craved it but, that said, I do need to live.'
