Yet Jodie Comer's talent came under question during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, as the eponymous host accidentally bad-mouthed her skills.
The 26-year-old actress is most famous for her role in Killing Eve, but Ellen, 61, began the chat by discussing her part in BBC drama Doctor Foster, where she accidentally admitted that she didn't know what accent Jodie was putting on.

Jodie originally hails from Liverpool and has a prominent Scouse accent, which lead Ellen to remark: 'I am so shocked to hear that, because in Doctor Foster you had an American accent, right?'
Perplexed, Jodie responded: 'No she was British...' and as Ellen looked flustered, she added: 'Oh, I didn't do a good job there...
'She was British, she was from London.'
