The Today show has suffered weeks of bad ratings, and on Thursday was beaten again by ABC News Breakfast.
But the cast appeared to not have a care in the world, as they filmed the Nine flagship program from Palm Cove in Queensland.
Co-hosts Deborah Knight and Georgie Gardner were seen sharing a laugh, as they were joined by Richard Wilkins, Sonia Kruger, Brooke Boney and Steve Jacobs.

The show's anchors appeared carefree and relaxed, and at one stage looked to share an inside joke.
Deborah, 46, cut a chic figure in a fuchsia cap-sleeve frock, which she teamed with nude strappy sandals.
While Georgie, 48, sported a white and tan striped shirt dress and white sneakers, and tied her blonde locks back off her face.

Working up an appetite, Georgie was later spotted enjoying a healthy chia yoghurt snack.
The pair were joined by Today's entertainment reporter Brooke Boney, 31, who looked elegant in a green shirt dress.
She was no doubt taking reporting tips from entertainment veteran Richard Wilkins.

The 64-year-old kept things casual in a black linen dress shirt, white shorts and pristine white sneakers, and on several occasions concealed his gaze behind tinted sunglasses.
Also pictured on set was Today Extra's Sonia Kruger, 53, who wore a black snakeskin print ensemble with tan platform heels, and a suave-looking Steve Jacobs, 52.
The cheery demeanour is in stark contrast to the latest TV ratings, where Today was beaten again on Thursday by ABC News Breakfast.
