But that didn't stop Christina El Moussa from having a gender reveal celebration this Friday.
'It's a boy!' the Flip Or Flop star, 35, officially announced with a festive photo of her blended family cheering as blue confetti rained from the sky.

In the photo Christina was with husband Ant Anstead, as well as her two children and his children from his previous marriage.
Christina talked about how excited her 'blended family' is about their new addition as she continued her caption.
'@ant_anstead, the kids and I are so excited! This blended family cannot wait to add our 5th child to the mix!'
Wheelers Dealers persona Ant joked about Tarek's slip of the tongue in his own Instagram post, writing: 'I'm the very last to the gender reveal game.... [Christina] our beautiful (and growing) blended family and I are so thrilled to be having a BOY in September.'
He told fans he was 'Welcoming any and all name suggestions' for the little boy.

Unfortunately for the happy couple, their secret had already been shared.

Prior to Tarek's comments neither Christina nor her new husband Ant Anstead had addressed the gender of their little one.
But after Tarek let the news slip, Christina shared her reaction with Us Weekly, telling the magazine: 'While Christina and Ant wished they could have shared the news themselves, they are very excited to welcome a baby boy in the fall.'
