Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams says the X Factor 'BORES him' and that he 'fast forwards through the performances'

He has been in hot water with X Factor and Britain's Got Talent creator Simon Cowell in the past.

And David Walliams, 47, could be in trouble with the television mogul, 59, again after labelling the singing reality TV show 'boring'.   

In an interview with The Daily Star, the Britain's Got Talent judge said: 'I like to watch things like the X Factor but I do find myself watching it on catch up and fast forwarding through the performances.

'I think to myself "Why am I watching this programme?". That is the bit that kind of bores me a bit,' he added.

The comedian, who has been a judge on BGT for the past eight seasons, boasted that the talent show is a feel-good programme that encourages people to get up and give performing on stage a try.

He went on to compare BGT to the X Factor, saying that it does not give false hope to aspiring singers with big dreams and expectations of their careers.
