Earlier this year, a massive shakeup saw Today and Weekend Today show regulars Karl Stefanovic, Peter Stefanovic, Sylvia Jeffreys and Tim Gilbert all depart in what was called a bloodbath at the network.
Today show viewership has continued to plummet since co-hosts Deborah Knight and Georgie Gardner were brought to the helm four months ago.
And it appears that fans of the show are desperate for the old cast to come back, with several taking to Sylvia Jeffreys' Instagram on Sunday to beg for their return.

The former Weekend Today host shared a snap in which she is posing with ousted co-stars Peter Stefanovic, who is also her husband, and Tim Gilbert, and the response was swift.
