An air date for Channel Nine's much-anticipated LEGO Masters series has finally been revealed.   

The latest trailer for the Australian version of the successful British game show aired on Monday, announcing that the family friendly program's premiere would air on April 28.

'2.5 million pieces - the only limit is your imagination,' a voiceover is heard saying in  the advert as contestants nervously tried to build constructions within a strict time limit.

The promo also shows off new LEGO creations made on the show, including a model of the Greek god Zeus aiming his trident over a wave-stricken trireme.

In another part of the footage, a giant space shuttle made out of the toy bricks can be seen towering towards the ceiling. 

The show's original trailer teased more creative constructions, including colourful buildings, a woman playing the violin and even a unicorn riding a bike.
