And while she branded the split 'painful and ghastly', the 51-year-old TV legend still found the humour in her pain as she shared a cheeky exchange on Instagram.
After posting a shot of two ladybirds mating, when a follower claimed it was 'the season' she playfully responded: 'Well, I certainly don't need to worry... that ship has well and truly sailed' - in a seeming jibe to her sex life.

Ulrika recently revealed that she's going through a divorce with third husband Brian Monet, but optimistically denied that she's been unlucky in love through the years, explaining that she's simply had 'lot's of Mr Rights'.
