And Ricki Lake admitted that she fell into a deep depression following the suicide death of her ex-husband Christian Evans in 2017, but has since seen the light with new love in her life, according to People.
The 50-year-old television personality revealed that she 'took it slow' and followed her heart with clothing designer Jeffrey Scult when they first began dating nearly six months ago.

'Jeffrey knew my heart was in a very precious state, and he had reverence for that,' she said when the pair first met.
Lake met Scult through mutual friends last year and allowed herself to be vulnerable to the idea of love.
'My relationship with Jeffrey is the healthiest one I’ve ever had,' she said. 'I believe in love. And I believe in second chances.'

Lake revealed that she suffered 'true depression' after Evans killed himself in 2017 and she has only recently recovered.
'It's a miracle, but I truly feel on the other side of it,' Lake told People Magazine.
