The ratings war between Sunrise and Today just got uglier.

A Channel Seven executive threatened legal action against an industry website this week, after it published an article accusing them of being an anonymous online troll.

The website TV Blackbox alleged that the user 'avocadoTV' on the popular  MediaSpy internet forum was a well-known figure at Seven.

Apparently, 'avocadoTV' had raised eyebrows lately with their surprisingly in-depth knowledge of the breakfast TV ratings battle between Sunrise and Today.
