It is not the first time she has featured on a movie soundtrack and on-screen. 

And Rita Ora's latest blockbuster offering is her song Carry On, featuring Kygo, from the highly-anticipated 2019 live-action film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu.  

The pop princess, 28, got into character for the video by slipping into a yellow PVC mac as she plays a detective on the hunt for the video game character.

The musician continued her chic look with an all-black combination of a roll neck jumper and skin-tight trousers. 

Rita, who starred in Fifty Shades Freed as well providing music with her song For You, prowls around in the footage with a torch.

The beauty sneaks into a NYC police department's office in her quest to track down the furry friend. 

As she continues her hunt, the blonde siren then takes to a car as she drives around the city under the cover of darkness.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, details for Rita's character in the movie are being kept under wraps.

While fans of the animated versions of Pokemon will remember Pikachu just making heartwarming squeaking noises, the live-action movie adds a twist.

Pikachu can in fact talk - but his voice can only be understood by Justice Smith's character Tim Goodman, and everyone else hears only the squeaking.

In world where humans and Pokemon coexist, the trailer shows Tim hearing a rustling in his home and raises a stapler to defend himself, saying: 'Whoever you are, I know how to use this!'

Out from behind a table pops Pikachu, who says: 'Ugh, Jeez, here we go. I know you can't understand me, but put down the stapler or I will electrocute you.'
