She's starring as mean girl 'Edie' in the new feature film, Back of the Net, after years of playing Maggie on Love Child.  

And on Friday, actress Tiarnie Coupland said she relished playing an on-screen bully in the new Australian feature film.

Appearing on Channel Ten's The Project, the 22-year-old Logie-nominated actress said the role was 'more fun' than playing a 'nice' character.

Being quizzed by co-host Waleed Aly about the role, she said: 'I love playing the mean person or the bully.' 

She added that it is more fun than playing a nice character: It's such an amazing role to play, you get to explore so many more different fields.'
