And while Stephen Graham might seem as tough as nails, the actor has admitted he turned to alcohol while playing Combo, a racist ex-con in This Is England back in 2006.
The 45-year-old admitted he 'lost himself' within the character, as the script drudged up painful childhood memories of himself being racially abused.

In an interview with The Sun, he said: 'I’m mixed race. As a kid I was called horrible words that I don’t even want to say, and little monkey boy.'
Stephen, whose grandfather was from Jamaica, soon became unruly and was eventually kicked out of theatre school.
He later got involved in petty crime, stealing Porches and bringing them back to the estate- and at 15 spent time in a police cell for stealing a starter pistol.
