Olly Murs is 'secretly dating' Love Island's Zara McDermott and is 'smitten'

It was rumoured he took a fancy to the Love Island star after he was spotted liking her bikini-clad Instagram snaps.

And now Olly Murs has reportedly struck up a secret romance with Zara McDermott after meeting her night out in Essex last month. 

The singer, 34, is said to be enjoying dates with the brunette beauty, 21, and is 'smitten' with her.

And it is believed Olly even invited the Love Island star to be a special guest in the audience when he was judging the semi-final of ITV's The Voice.

A source told The Sun: 'Olly is smitten with Zara and it's not hard to see why.

'He tried to make out they're just mates but there's real chemistry between them.

'Now their romance is blossoming into a relationship. He treats her like a princess and is very complimentary about her.'

The couple are said to have been on a number of low-key dates and are attempting to get to know one another out of the public eye.  

Zara confirmed she had split from Adam Collard in February after they struck up a romance in the Love Island villa.

Olly has been single since 2015 after breaking up with property manager Francesca Thomas - but his friends say Zara is the perfect match, the Sun reports.

The star has been linked to a number of famous faces, including Melanie Sykes with whom he had a fling with in 2017.

Olly was outed as a secret fan of Zara's snaps after a click-happy Instagram session.  

But when Olly was grilled by Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast radio show, he was defensive over his decision to like her images - as he claimed they are merely 'friends'.
