The star announced on his official Facebook page earlier this month that he had to leave the competition after his seven-week-old twin son Mack had been taken to hospital 'due to complications following a routine procedure'. But on Monday's grand finale, Jimmy made a triumphant return - and announced that his son was 'doing really well, you'll be pleased to know'. Scroll down for video Back! Rapturous applause erupted from the audience when Jimmy burst out onto the ballroom floor for one last dance will fellow evictees Miguel Maestre, Denise Scott, Michelle Bridges and Jett Kenny. After Jimmy's sudden departure from the show, fears were heightened after he took to his Facebook account to make the announcement that his son had been rushed to hospital. Pictured is his seven-week-old son Mack 'Mack is currently under care at Randwick Hospital, where the ICU staff are monitoring the situation,' the post read. 'Mack is in a stable condition, and at this time there is no cause for immediate alarm.' The post continued: 'Jimmy and Tori would like to formally thank everyone for their well wishes, and hope they will manifest in a speedy recovery for their son.' Back in February, the Giggle and Hoot star announced the news that he and wife Tori had welcomed their twin boys Mack and Vinny. 'Our hearts have doubled in size!'
