Clearly back with a bang, the band were forced to add a host of international tour dates to their already packed summer schedule to ensure more fans could catch a glimpse of their comeback.

Westlife soared to fame in 1998 when they were formed in Dublin, with the original line-up also featuring Brian McFadden, who later left in 2004.

The group broke hearts of fans around the globe when they announced plans to disband in 2012 before all embarking on respective solo careers over the years.

In October, Westlife announced their return - with both new music and an anniversary tour - as Shane delightedly revealed: 'We still have a lot that we want to achieve as a band and we want to bring our new music to fans all over the world'.

With recent hit singles Better Man and Ed Sheeran-penned Hello My Love, the Irish foursome are proving they are back and better than ever.

The band, who have together knocked up 14 No.1 singles, say they are excited to be making new music and getting the tour underway.

'The album has everything that we love in music, heartfelt emotional songs and also great uptempo's that are designed for our forthcoming stadium performances,' they said about the tour and album.

The boys, who are back together in the recording studio and preparing for life back on the road, added: 'We're going to give the fans the best tour we have ever done.
