Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke pokes fun at Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow

The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is well underway.

And Emilia Clarke poked fun at Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow's newly discovered relationship when she posted a 'family portrait' with co-star Kit Harington to Instagram on Tuesday.

The actress, 32, who stars as Daenerys in the HBO show, posted a snap of herself and Kit, 32, poking their heads through a 'your face here' cut out of two Vikings.

Emilia pulled a face in glasses through the image of a blonde warrior as Kit, who plays Jon Snow in the series, looked terrified beside her.

In the caption of the shot, the Me Before You star wrote: 'The family portrait #kitharrington #jeneregretterien #okmaybehereiseetheresemblance'.

The Mother of Dragons was referring to a recent Game of Thrones moment in the note - when Daenerys discovered her lover Jon is her nephew.
