Cobie Smulders dazzles in red at Avengers: Endgame world premiere

She's appeared as agent Maria Hill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since The Avengers films kicked off in 2012.

And Cobie Smulders dazzled in a plunging scarlet gown as she attended the world premiere of Avengers: Endgame with her husband Taran Killam at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Monday.

The star-studded movie is a direct sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, which opened a year ago, and wraps up the stories told in 21 films in the MCU starting with 2008's Iron Man.

The actress, 37, who also appeared as Maria in Captain America: The Winter Solider, cut a glamorous figure as she walked the purple carpet in her stunning red gown.

Cobie paired her side split dress with a silver star pendant and wore matching red open-toe heels for the long-awaited premiere.

The Agents of Shield star wore her brunette locks in soft curls around her shoulders and kept her make-up on the natural side.

Cobie's husband Taran Killam, 37, wore a classic black suit and a star-print shirt for the occasion.

The star-studded event saw stars from the MCU - including Chris Evans, Brie Larson, and Scarlett Johansson - come together to celebrate the end of an era.  

Avengers: Endgame has been branded the most anticipated film of 2019, as it sees the conclusion of a decade-long tale of Thanos' plot to wipe out half of the universe's living creatures.
