And Katie Holmes actually looked like a million dollars on her next outing.

The 40-year-old actress was seen looking fashionable as always on a solo stroll in New York City on Tuesday.

She looked absolutely dreamy in a long denim coat over a white top and brown pleated midi skirt.

The Batman Begins star finished off the look with a pair of light brown slippers as she lugged along a large tote bag. 

She accessorized with two large beaded wooden necklaces and a pair of gold-rimmed aviator shades with purple mirrored lenses.

Just the previous day, Holmes made a grand gesture as she presented  a filmmaker with a one million dollar check to help them create a feature-length movie.

The Batman Begins star joined a group of other movie industry peers at the AT&T: Untold Stories Film Competition, which took place on Monday during the Manhattan-based festival.

During the event, Katie was part of the committee that chose director Kate Tsang and producer Carolyn Mao as the winner of the one million dollar grand prize, which will go to a film that will premiere at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
